WASHINGTON, D.C. – With Homer Bailey’s start on Saturday and Brandon Finnegan returned from the disabled list to start on Monday in St. Louis, Reds manager Bryan Price is beginning to see something that looks like the rotation he imagined at the beginning of the season.
Anthony DeSclafani is still more than a month away from returning, but he now has Bailey and Finnegan to join the veteran Scott Feldman and dependable Tim Adleman, along with youngster Luis Castillo.
Castillo, who held the Nationals to two runs in five innings in his big-league debut on Friday, is now the only rookie in the Reds rotation.
