Billy Hamilton hears you on social media, he knows you think he should just bunt every single time he’s at the plate and he’d have a hit every time.
Things aren’t that easy.
Bunting is still hard and it’s even harder when everyone expects you to bunt.
“For a guy like me, it’s way tougher. You know for a fact the guys are going to be in on every pitch,” Hamilton said. “(Monday) night when I squared around, 2-2, that keeps them honest and stuff. For me, they’re going to be in all the time. You have to get a perfect bunt almost every single time to get it down.
