PHOENIX –– The Cincinnati Reds and the Arizona Diamondbacks have two of the worst records in the National League. They’re both expected to be sellers at the trade deadline, but there’s one common bright spot on both teams.
The Reds have ace Luis Castillo. The Diamondbacks have ace Zac Gallen. On Wednesday at Chase Field, as the Diamondbacks beat the Reds, 7-4, Castillo and Gallen faced off and showed the importance an ace can have in a game.
Reds reliever Art Warren took the loss after he allowed an RBI double to Diamondbacks left fielder David Peralta in the eighth inning.
