Reds launch 2 HRs before 1st out vs. White Sox

CINCINNATI - Home runs have been a big part of the Reds' recent surge, and they came again in a big way early in Tuesday night's game vs. the White Sox.

Following a leadoff triple by Jose Peraza against White Sox starter Lucas Giolito, Scooter Gennett followed by hitting a 1-1 pitch for a two-run homer to right field, giving the Reds a 2-0 lead. The ball came off the bat at only 90.4 mph and had a four-percent hit probability, according to Statcast™.
