The Cincinnati Reds jumped on Mitch Keller in his Major League debut early, scoring 6 runs in the 1st inning and they never looked back as they salvaged a split in the day/night double header.
The Offense
The Reds got things going early on. The first three batters of the game reached base. After a strikeout, Yasiel Puig came through with an RBI single to make it 1-0. Jose Iglesias followed up with a grand slam that made it 5-0. Nick Senzel, who scored the first run of the game, then singled in Curt Casali to cap off the inning, making it 6-0.
