Cincinnati Reds manager Jim Riggleman insisted after Sunday's loss that the shot outfielder Adam Duvall sent into the stands in St. Louis in the 4th inning went just foul and did not touch the pole for a would-be grand slam.
Some wish the Reds would've at least challenged the call of a foul ball and requested a review.
Duvall did drive in two with a single to left in the same at-bat. But the Reds ended up losing 6-4 - and the two additional runs that would've resulted from a grand slam might have been the difference between Cincinnati taking two of three and a series sweep.
