Reds get pitchers Marinan, Zabala from Dodgers

The Reds acquired right-handed pitchers James Marinan and Aneurys Zabala from the Dodgers in exchange for pitchers Dylan Floro and Zach Neal, as well as international signing bonus pool space, the club announced on Wednesday before their game against the White Sox in Cincinnati.

Drafted by the Dodgers in the fourth round of the 2017 Draft, Marinan has been pitching in the rookie-level Arizona League the last two seasons. During that time, he's posted a 1.30 ERA through 27 2/3 innings, with 25 strikeouts and 18 walks. The 19-year-old will report to the Reds' rookie-level Billings Mustangs.
