CINCINNATI -- A leadoff home run by Lorenzo Cain in the top of the 11th inning sent the Reds to a 2-1 loss to the Brewers on Thursday afternoon at Great American Ball Park. Cincinnati dropped two of three in the series.
Recalled earlier in the day from Triple-A Louisville for his fourth big league stint of the season, reliever Austin Brice's first pitch of the day was lifted by Cain into the first row of seats to break the 1-1 deadlock. It gave the Brewers 22 consecutive games with a home run at Great American Ball Park, the longest current streak for any club in a Major League stadium.
