GOODYEAR, Ariz. -- The Reds have claimed left-handed pitcher Justin Nicolino off waivers from the Marlins.
Nicolino, 26, posted a 5.23 ERA in five spring games for Miami. In part of three big league seasons, he is 10-13 with a 4.65 ERA in 50 games, including 33 starts. Twelve of his 20 games last season for the Marlins were in relief, and he posted a 4.70 ERA in those games.
