CINCINNATI -- For a while on Saturday vs. the Brewers, it seemed like Reds pitcher Tyler Mahle was doing it all himself. Mahle recorded 17 outs, and 12 of them came on strikeouts. But Mahle initially wasn't getting much support. His offense wasn't able to capitalize on chances, and a couple of errors had him trailing after he exited.
Mahle was already out of the game, but the support came in a big way during an eight-run seventh inning that featured a pinch-hit grand slam from Michael Lorenzen in a 12-3 Reds victory at Great American Ball Park.
