The Cincinnati Reds on Friday avoided arbitration with all four off their eligible players, striking one-year deals with center fielder Billy Hamilton, shortstop Zack Cozart and relievers Blake Wood and Tony Cingrani, according to multiple sources. Hamilton will receive $2.625 million in 2017 and Cozart will be paid $5.325 million. Wood will get $1.275 million and Cingrani gets $1.825 million.
Hamilton and Cingrani are both in their first year of arbitration eligibility. Wood is in his second and Cozart is on his final trip through before reaching free agency after the upcoming season. Hamilton was predicted to earn $2.
