Reds at Royals – May 19, 2015

After facing the World Series champion over the weekend, the Cincinnati Reds (18-20) travel to Kansas City to face the 2014 AL Champion Royals (24-14) for a brief two game visit. The Royals made the playoffs last season as one of the two wild card teams and swept all three rounds of the American League playoffs. They pushed the World Series to the full seven games, losing the final game 3-2.

This season, the Royals have the second best record in the American League and fourth best record in baseball. They have the largest run differential in the AL (+55) and lead the league in both runs scored (192) and fewest runs allowed (137).
