The Joe Nuxhall Memorial Honorary Star of the Game
Ivan De Jesus, Jr. has been a bit of a find for the Redlegs this season. He's been neither bad nor great, but he's been the bench bat that Reds have needed (for this year and those gone by). As a bonus, he can play multiple positions on the field, and tonight he flashed the leather along with the bat that showed a bench player with keeping around. On the night, De Jesus Jr. finished 2-4 with a double and a big RBI in the 7th, to go along with a big defensive play at 3rd base, filling in for Todd Frazier.
