Hall of Famer Johnny Bench won many games as a player with the Big Red Machine, but on Wednesday night he managed the Louisville Stars to a convincing 15-3 win against the Hattiesburg Black Sox in the Bluegrass World Series at Louisville Slugger Field.

The Stars are scheduled to play again Friday night against FCSL Futures at Louisville Slugger Field. The Louisville Salutes Johnny Bench Game will feature a Bench giveaway, fireworks and a craft beer night.
