MLB Network analysts were impressed with the Cincinnati Reds' trade-deadline deals for relief pitcher Archie Bradley and outfielder Brian Goodwin.
Tom Verducci said the following on MLB Network: "Think about the Reds - because their bullpen to me has kind of underperformed. Think about how dangerous Cincinnati could be in a best out of 3 environment if they're a No. 7 or 8 seed even, with the starting pitching they have. With Sonny Gray and Castillo and Bauer, that's a matchup a lot of the higher seeds would not want to see. Now Bradley makes that bullpen a heckuva lot better.
