Once the dust settled after Wednesday’s Trade Deadline, the Cincinnati Reds emerged with one of the best starting rotations in the National League and they believe they are positioned for the 2020 season.
The Reds stunned the baseball industry Tuesday when they were the top bidders for right-hander Trevor Bauer, who was among the top starting pitchers on the trade market. They sent right fielder Yasiel Puig and minor league pitcher Scott Moss to the Cleveland Indians and top prospect Taylor Trammell to the San Diego Padres in the three-team deal.
