MILWAUKEE -- At least officially, left-hander David Holmberg remained listed as the Reds' scheduled starter for Monday's series opener vs. the Cubs at Wrigley Field. But after Holmberg was hit hard in three-straight starts, including Wednesday vs. the Dodgers, manager Bryan Price seemed to be considering alternative plans.
"Hard to say. I don't think we're ready to make a commitment one way or the other," Price said on Friday.
Holmberg, who allowed six earned runs and seven hits with three home runs over 3 2/3 innings vs. Los Angeles for a 7-4 loss, is 0-3 with a 15.
