CLEVELAND -- On Friday, struggling pitcher Jason Marquis was still listed as the Reds' starter for their Monday game vs. the Rockies.
But it seemed like that was written more in pencil than pen.
After Marquis was roughed up again in a 7-1 loss vs. the Royals on Wednesday, manager Bryan Price indicated that Marquis' status in the rotation was tenuous. On Friday, when asked if Marquis would make his next start, Price seemed to be considering his alternatives.
"I probably would hold off on addressing that question, really, because we have to look at a lot of different things when it comes to making a decision," Price said.
