Fresh off a series victory against the Cardinals, the Reds will play two today against the Pittsburgh Pirates, one of them a makeup from the Reds COVID scare last month.
Speaking of said COVID scare, Nick Senzel has been activated for today’s game since missing every game beginning August 14. This is great news for the Reds, obviously, but maybe even better news for Senzel, who has recovered enough from his (presumed) infection to play professional baseball.
