The Reds were up 4-0 after the first inning, but a grand slam by Trent Grisham – his 2nd homer of the game – in the 5th inning put the Padres ahead 7-5 and shortly after the skies opened up. The game never resumed and San Diego picked up a rain-shortened win over Cincinnati.
