In right field, Yasiel Puig tracked the ball over his shoulder, gave chase to the fence and leaped at the wall. It wasn’t enough to catch up to Orlando Arcia’s three-run homer in the top of the sixth inning, the decisive blow in the Reds’ 4-3 loss to the Milwaukee Brewers on Tuesday.
Arcia, the No. 8 hitter, stepped into the batter’s box hitless in 16 at-bats this season. He slammed his bat to the ground after a strikeout Monday. He looked like he considered doing it again after another strikeout in the fourth inning.
Reds reliever Michael Lorenzen entered with two runners on base and two out to face Arcia.
