LOS ANGELES – It’s been a common theme throughout the Cincinnati Reds’ four-game losing streak: An early deficit combined with a sluggish offense.
The Reds haven’t led in a game since their three-run win over Atlanta last Sunday. They’ve been tied or trailed in their last 36 innings. The trend continued during a 3-1 loss to the Los Angeles Dodgers on Friday at Dodger Stadium.
Facing arguably the most talented roster in the Majors, the Reds failed to convert their offensive opportunities. They stranded the bases loaded in the third inning. Two more runners were stranded in the sixth.
