After a 112-day hiatus, Cincinnati Reds players reported back to spring training, summer camp, preseason workouts or whichever term anyone wants to use before the start of the 2020 season.
Baseball is finally back. Well, almost.
Wednesday was the report date for all Major League teams but there wasn’t much baseball to watch. The report date meant players needed to show up to the ballpark to undergo COVID-19 testing. Then they will self-isolate for about two days before they are cleared to play.
Testing started last weekend, so some players who were already in town have been cleared to begin workouts.
