A win is a win a win. And the Reds got one Tuesday night. It was a routine win turned into a nail-biter. It wasn't pretty. It, in fact, was an implosion that stopped just short of ruining the night.
But the 9-7 victory over the Atlanta Braves in 12 innings was the second straight for the Reds. When your first back-to-back wins happen in Games 22 and 23, you can't quibble over style points.
The Reds, who blew leads of 5-0 and 7-3, won it on Scooter Gennett's two-run walk-off in the 12th inning.
