PHOENIX — Nick Senzel doesn’t bother with expectations anymore and has given up on making predictions about his Cincinnati Reds career, much less wherever he might wind up next.
“I’ve spent a long time and so many years worrying about what’s going to happen,” he said. “Worrying about ‘should have maybe this, maybe that, what about this, maybe this’ – it does me no good.
“I’m not really in any control over that. Whatever happens is going to happen.”
If the former No. 2 overall pick of the Reds didn’t already know that before this month, he learned the hard way on the afternoon of Aug.
