The Cincinnati Reds will likely be without injured All-Star Nick Castellanos for longer than they expected.
A CT scan showed a microfracture in Castellanos' wrist on Wednesday, he said. The Reds have an off day Thursday before beginning a three-game series against the St. Louis Cardinals this weekend at Great American Ball Park.
"I got a CT scan today," Castellanos said Wednesday night in an interview with Jomboy Media's Chris Rose. "I have a microfracture in my wrist that I'm dealing with. Yeah, so I have to rest it. I'm going to take a couple of days to see where I'm at.
