If you're looking for yet another mea culpa about gambling on baseball, the latest Pete Rose autobiography is not for you.
In his new book "Play Hungry: The Making Of A Baseball Player," Rose instead focuses on his early career and how he made himself into a major leaguer, one who later became the game's all-time hits leader.
And a big part of that was his relationship with his father, also known as Pete Rose, whom Rose idolized based on several passages in the book.
