The Cincinnati Reds haven't yet announced an agreement with former Chicago Cubs pitcher Anthony Bass, who was granted free agency in October.
But the reliever Tweeted on Dec. 31 that he's excited to pitch for Cincinnati, and on Tuesday he shared a great photo of himself with his wife, Sydney, and adorable daughter, Brooklyn, enjoying some ice cream. (Sydney's sister is country singer Jessie James Decker, whose husband is former NFL wide receiver Eric Decker.)
Cubshq.com's Ken Allison reported that Bass agreed to a minor-league deal with the Reds with an invitation to spring training.
