MILWAUKEE — Sal Romano recorded his first career save Tuesday. Granted it was a three-inning save in a 14-6 victory over the Milwaukee Brewers.
But it sounds likes more saves could be in the Romano's future.
"With Sal, who knows long-term?" Reds manager David Bell said. "He could be a starter. When I watch him, he looks like a power pitcher. He could be a backend of the bullpen guy with the body type and the power arm.
"He threw really well. It looked a little different to me than it did in spring training – a little more downhill.
