Michigan basketball has a Barry Larkin play, as described by CBS' Clark Kellogg

Why was a National Baseball Hall of Famer who played his entire career for the Cincinnati Reds mentioned during a Top 25 college basketball game broadcast Sunday by CBS?

Because the University of Michigan Wolverines - ranked No. 2 in the country at 15-0 this season and one of just three remaining undefeated teams in Div. I men's college basketball - have a play they run - according to CBS commentator Clark Kellogg, who broadcasted Sunday's game along with Spero Dedes - called the "Barry Larkin."

It's a nice tribute for the former All-American for Michigan, who actually was recruited out of Moeller High School by the Wolverines to play football and had to convince head coach Bo Schembechler that he wanted to instead play baseball at the school.
