The Cincinnati Reds have activated infielder Matt Davidson from the injured list. Davidson, if you recall, tested positive for COVID-19 after the first game of the season and has missed the last six days while being on the COVID-19 injured list. In order to be eligible to come off of the list a player must receive two consecutive negative tests at least 24 hours apart.
That was not the only move that took place today, though the others were ones that we knew were coming. Left-handed pitcher Wade Miley was officially placed on the 10-day injured list with a groin injury.
