Matt Bowman is enjoying the little run he is on right now, but he’s not getting caught up in it.
The Cincinnati right-hander entered Friday’s 7-1 loss to Texas in the sixth inning with nobody out and runners on first and second. Facing the top of the Rangers order, Bowman coaxed Shin-Soo Choo into a force out, eliminating the trail runner at second with the lead runner going to third. Delino DeShields produced a sacrifice fly before Elvis Andrus struck out.
