Trade rumors involving the Cincinnati Reds are sure to increase as the July 31 non-waiver Trade Deadline approaches, and some get fans thinking and talking more than others.
Reds legendary radio play-by-play announcer Marty Brennaman mentioned a rumor on the air with The Enquirer's John Fay during the second inning of the Reds' 9-5 win Tuesday against the Detroit Tigers that he said a television producer had shared.
Brennaman said on 700 WLW that the talk in Omaha at the College World Series was of a deal between the Reds and the Boston Red Sox that would send outfielder Billy Hamilton to Boston for outfielder Jackie Bradley Jr.
