GOODYEAR, Ariz. - Perspective dictates how one views a slow start to spring training.
Cincinnati Reds center fielder Billy Hamilton doesn't have a hit in 12 at-bats this spring (although he stung a line drive Saturday directly at a Chicago Cubs infielder).
Joey Votto also doesn't have a hit, but he's only had seven at-bats.
The freak-out meter will undoubtedly spike more on the former than the latter.
