MINNEAPOLIS -- It's going to take a while for the Reds to climb out of the very deep hole that they dug for themselves in the first month of the season. It won't happen all at once, but rather in small increments.
The Reds finally got a series win on Sunday with an 8-2 victory over the Twins while collecting 14 hits at Target Field, giving them wins in two of three games in Minnesota. Looking over the last week, 7-21 Cincinnati posted a 4-3 record against Atlanta and Minnesota, while scoring 51 runs. (The Reds also won a one-game, rain-shortened series over the Cubs the first week of the season.
