Luis Castillo continues to turn things around in the second half. After struggling his last time out against the Cubs, he bounced back in a huge way tonight against the St. Louis Cardinals. He was completely dominant against the division rivals, shutting them down and never really letting them get close to being in the game tonight. In all, he threw 6.2 shutout innings, allowing only 2 hits and walking only 2 batters against 11 strikeouts. Keep it up, La Piedra.
Honorable mentions are due to: Raisel Iglesias, for striking out 3 batters in 1.
