SAN DIEGO – After all the injuries kept piling up on the Cincinnati Reds’ West Coast trip, they finally received some good news.
Lucas Sims is headed to the Reds’ bullpen after making three rehab appearances with Triple-A Louisville. Sims, delayed in spring training because of back spasms, pitched a scoreless inning Wednesday afternoon with a strikeout in his final tune-up outing before returning to the Major Leagues.
