We’re getting closer to spring training, but there are still a few players from the 2019 Cincinnati Reds that we’re going to be looking back at. Today we’ll be looking back at starting pitcher Anthony DeSclafani.
The Preseason Projection
After missing all of the 2017 season, Anthony DeSclafani put up his worst season since his rookie year. He had posted a 4.93 ERA in 21 starts for the Reds in his return. The big issue was that he was incredibly home run prone, giving up 24 of them in just 115.0 innings.
