The Reds claimed right-hander Kevin Gausman off waivers from the Braves on Monday. He will pitch out of the bullpen for the first time since 2015. Bobby Nightengale, Cincinnati Enquirer
Kevin Gausman made Cincinnati Reds history in the top of the ninth inning Sunday and he didn't even realize it until he returned to the dugout.
Gausman pitched an immaculate inning – striking out all three batters on nine pitches. It was the sixth time in club history that a Reds pitcher threw an immaculate inning and the first time since Drew Storen accomplished the feat on April 18, 2017.
