Jonathan India may not have known the historical significance in Cincinnati Reds history off the top of his head, but he was thinking about the same thing as everybody else at Great American Ball Park on Monday.
India was a triple shy of the cycle when he stepped into the batter’s box in the seventh inning. On the fifth pitch of his at-bat, he lined a curveball into left field where Jesús Sánchez made a running catch.
