I spent a lot more time observing the Cincinnati Reds than covering them in the last couple of weeks. But while I’ve been occupied with Cincinnati Bengals duties and chronicling the last days of Marty Brennaman’s long run as the voice of Reds, two stories by my buddy, Bobby Nightengale, caught my attention:

• The sad tale of Danny Graves’ battle with depression.
