Reds first baseman and 2010 National League MVP Joey Votto earns a huge salary, but you wouldn't expect a guy with a .293 average and 1.005 OPS - tied for 10th in the majors in home runs with 12 and tied for second in baseball with 38 RBIs this season - to get heckled much, at home no less.
But Reds fans aren't the only ones allowed in the Diamond Seats, and Votto wasn't going to take abuse from a fan without firing back during the Reds' 5-1 win Monday against the Indians.
