KANSAS CITY, MO. – When Billy Hamilton was caught between third base and home plate in the 10th inning Tuesday against the Kansas City Royals, he waved toward Scott Schebler.
Rounding second base, Schebler saw about 20 feet between Royals fielders as they tried to track down Hamilton.
Schebler said if it was any other runner, he would’ve advanced to third base and likely forced an automatic out.
