Cincinnati Reds All-Star first baseman Joey Votto was on the set of MLB Network's Intentional Talk during All-Star Monday festivities preceding the Home Run Derby at Nationals Park, and he talked to co-hosts Chris Rose and Kevin Millar about how he used to have cornrows, as he's alluded to previously.
In The Enquirer's feature in December of 2017 about former Reds pitcher Bronson Arroyo, Votto said he actually had cornrows before Arroyo - and that he suspected Arroyo may have copied his style.
