DENVER -- Bases loaded. No outs. One-run lead. Coors Field.
That's what Jared Hughes faced Saturday night.
"I don't know what the odds were," Hughes said. "But I'd imagine they're not good."
But Hughes pulled off the super save, getting a fielder's choice groundout and a line-drive double play to preserve the Reds' 6-5 victory over the Colorado Rockies before a crowd of 42,844 at Coors.
Ryan McMahon started the Colorado ninth with a little roller between Hughes and Joey Votto for an infield hit. Chris Iannetta followed with a drive to the wall for a double.
