GOODYEAR, Arizona – Sean Doolittle is trying to stay process-oriented this spring, proud of the work he did during the winter, but there’s been a lot of frustrating moments during spring training.
It’s been a rough spring. The nine-year veteran has yielded 10 hits, 11 runs and seven walks in 3 1/3 innings, which amounts to a 29.73 ERA. He’s allowed at least three runs in three of his four outings.
“It’s been frustrating,” he said. “It’s been a little bit of a roller coaster ride here. But everything we’ve been doing behind the scenes, on the back fields and in the bullpen has gone really well.
