PITTSBURGH – Michael Siani celebrated his debut with one of his younger brothers, Sammy, sitting in the Great American Ball Park stands, but they’re hopeful it won’t be long before they are in opposing dugouts.
Michael, the 23-year-old center fielder, was picked by the Reds in the fourth round of the 2018 MLB Draft. Sammy Siani, a 21-year-old, was the No. 37 overall pick by the Pittsburgh Pirates in 2019 and finished this season at the High-A level.
Michael’s debut was the first time the two brothers had seen each other since February, before they left for spring training.
