Four Mets pitchers, starting with Matt Harvey (who Mets fans have nicknamed the Dark Knight), limited the Reds to two runs. They struck out 12 and walked only one. Meanwhile, Reds pitchers walked six and struck out three. That kind of pitching, along with sketchy team defense and awful plate discipline is a skill set not designed for many wins
This is not the team Reds fans deserve.
But given the necessity to rebuild it’s the one we need right now. Sorta.
