For the past month, the easiest way to spot injured Cincinnati Reds pitcher Justin Dunn before games was to look toward the team’s bullpen.
Dunn, recovering from a right shoulder injury that has sidelined him for a full year, made it a point to watch his teammates when they threw pregame bullpen sessions. It was a chance to talk pitching and learn from others.
On Sunday, Dunn finally had a chance to show his teammates how he pitched. It was his third bullpen session, but the first time he threw all his breaking balls.
