Cincinnati Reds top prospect Hunter Greene, the 18-year-old 2017 first-round pick of the team (2nd overall), and outfielder Taylor Trammell have been selected to participate in the SiriusXM All-Star Futures Game on Sunday, July 15 at Nationals Park.
Greene, a starting pitcher for the Low-A Dayton Dragons, Tweeted late Monday night about his selection.
The game features the top Minor League prospects in a nine-inning contest as part of MLB All-Star Sunday.
On Monday, Greene struck out 10 in seven scoreless innings - throwing just 69 pitches - in a 2-1 win - the most impressive outing of his young professional career.
